About Laurence

Laurence is a very calm dog who loves to sleep, but he also has a lot of energy. He has so much love to give. Sadly, we do not have the space to keep him. He was adopted by my father-in-law in 2025 from a dog shelter, where it was clear he had been extremely mistreated by his original owner. Because of this, he has a bit of PTSD and can be sensitive to certain movements around him, but he is improving every day and is learning that no one will ever mistreat him again. Unfortunately, my father-in-law has developed health problems and is no longer able to give Laurence the attention and care he needs. My husband and I are truck drivers and already have two dogs of our own, so we also don't have the space or ability to take him in. We are looking for a forever home for this lovely gentleman someone who can give him the patience, love, and stability he truly deserves.
