We have made the very difficult decision to rehome our dog Juniper. She is one year old and has been a wonderful dog in every way except one--once in a while she violently resources food. We have tried to correct this in her, but we haven't been successful. She has only ever gone after a smaller dog, but I can't keep her in the home with very young children since she snaps unpredictably and is very rough when she does. She is spayed, crate trained, potty trained, trained to sit, down, and stay. She is so intelligent and friendly--an Aussie/Collie mix. She would do well in a home with older/bigger dogs to correct her, and a home with older children who will not be tempted to touch her food. Please share this with anyone you think might be interested--I'm hoping in the Christmas season someone might find room in their heart and home for little Junie.
