Scout is roughly 10 months old, 36 lbs, highly intelligent and full of energy. He was originally our neighbors dog who we inherited due to their lack of care. He came to us full of fleas, malnourished and a limp in his hind right side. After xrays it was determined he was more than likely hit by a car. He doesn't have any limitations and will run his heart out, but we have noticed after extreme exercise he can develop a limp for a few hours. This boy has a big heart even with his rough start. A home with a child (above 7 yrs) that matches his energy would be desirable or on a ranch/farm where he has a job to do. He is so smart and knows sit, paw, down, and fetch already. He is house broken (uses a doggie door) and good with dogs (not so well with senior dogs, due to his drive to play), cats and adults/kids. He enjoys his chew toys, treats, belly rubs, playing fetch and most importantly snuggles. We hate to rehome him, but we have 2 senior dogs and not enough time or energy ourselves to give him the home he deserves.
