About Meira

Meira is a little girl who's already had a rough start in life. She was purchased sight unseen from a backyard breeder in Georgia, and the person who bought her realized she wasn't 'breeding quality.' For three days, she was left in a crate with almost no interaction. Despite this, she's not mean at all-just nervous and needing love. When she arrived in the rescue, she immediately ran to a crate and felt safe for the first time in her life. She's a tiny bundle at 35 lbs, HW negative, and estimated to be around 1 year old. Meira is shy but so eager to learn, play, and trust. She's not a dog with a mean bone-she just needs patience, kindness, and a forever home that will help her blossom.
