About Tara

Meet Tara - a devoted heart looking for her person Tara is a sweet, loving girl who came to the shelter through no fault of her own. Her former owner had to make the difficult decision to surrender her due to health concerns, but one thing was clear - Tara was well loved, and she gives that love right back. She walks beautifully on leash and enjoys getting out and about. Tara is friendly with other dogs and loves running and playing alongside them. While she didn't live with cats, she calmly ignored the neighboring cats she encountered. In the home, she's a wonderful companion - housebroken and has good manners. She's treat-motivated and knows several commands, including sit, come, out, and stop. Car rides make Tara nervous, so a home where that isn't a frequent necessity would be ideal for her. Tara has no interest in toys. What she truly values is connection. She can form a close bond with her person and thrives on that one-on-one companionship. Tara is ready to share her loyalty, affection, and gentle presence with someone who's looking for a devoted companion.
