About Mia

Description: Mia is a beautiful 3-year-old female German Shepherd weighing approximately 85 lbs. She is intelligent, alert, loyal, and deeply bonded to her handler. Mia is healthy and up to date on vaccinations. Due to significant medical issues affecting her current owner (multiple hand surgeries, spinal injuries, and mobility limitations), Mia has not been able to receive the consistent physical training and daily structure that a strong working breed requires. A recent move from a large rural property to a small residential setting has also been very difficult for her adjustment. Mia is reactive with other dogs and will do best as the only dog in the home. She is not aggressive toward people, but she requires an experienced, confident handler who understands the German Shepherd breed, can provide leadership, and has space for her energy and drive.
