Whether that's a yard to stretch his legs or a family committed to multiple daily walks, staying active helps Scout feel his best both mentally and physically. He's a wonderful companion who bonds closely with one primary person, forming a deep, meaningful connection, while still being affectionate and engaged with the rest of the household. Scout also does well with confident, well-mannered dogs he can take cues from, making him a great match for a structured, dog-savvy home. Scout can be a bit reserved when meeting new people, especially men, but he responds beautifully to positive reinforcement and warms up with time and consistency. Once comfortable, his sweet and loving personality really comes through. He is crate trained, potty trained, and food motivated, making continued training a rewarding and positive experience. Scout appreciates having his own personal space and special belongings, like his crate or favorite toys, and does best in a home that respects those boundaries while continuing to build trust and routine.
