About Ralphie

URGENT: Sweet Ralphie Needs a Foster or Adopter ASAP! This is Ralphie. He's about 7-8 years old, a gentle Pit Bull with the kindest soul. His story is one of heartbreak. He was found roaming the streets of Riverside, confused and abandoned. A chain still hung around his neck, a painful reminder that he was once someone's dog before they discarded him like he didn't matter. But he does matter. A group of kind strangers got him to safety, but his time is running out. He has nowhere to go. The Good Samaritan who helped him can't keep him, and Ralphie's future is uncertain. Despite everything, Ralphie's spirit remains tender-hearted. He loves people and just wants to be loved in return. When you pet him, he closes his eyes as if he's savoring every second like he knows love is something rare in his world. Sometimes he sticks his tongue out which is so adorable. He is gentle, well-mannered, and so eager to please. He takes treats softly, knows how to sit and give paw, he gives the most precious gentle kisses and he walks beautifully on a leash. And when he trusts you, he follows you like he's afraid to let go. We gave him a bath, and you could see the relief in his eyes. He knew someone was finally caring for him. But Ralphie needs more than a moment of kindness. He needs a loving home. A place where he will never be left behind again.
