About Bo

Bo has been in rescue since December.. He is a lovely combo of dogs per DNA. He has had a rough time with both fosters and adopters alike. Bo needs a person that is familiar with dog behaviour, and is savvy with dogs. He has been a delight here at the house with my 11 dogs including chihuahua. He is bigger tho and plays hard and a bit rough so you have to watch him with littles. He knows all commands, has a very easy demeanor, comes when called, and is actually submissive. He knows verbal correction and responds immediately. He has been evaluated by two trainers, and in the right hands this is a dream dog. Housebroken crate trained. He is very alert to new people, new situations and has a low thresh hold for environmental stim meaning he gets excited easily. He refocuses like a dream. You have all his attention.. He loves to sleep in a recliner chair and be near you. He stays out of pack situations and is on the periphery, all good things. Over all, Bo needs to move on to a new home where there is more activity, more men and no small children. He is great with kids 12 and up. If you do not know dogs this is NOT the dog for you, we have worked hard with Bo, since the people he was with jsut about ruined him. remember there are no bad dogs. just bad people. Bo is fostered in Bradenton.
