Two year old Steve is HERE! He has been loved his whole life but now family dynamics have changed and he's not getting the attention he yearns for and deserves. He is neutered, house broken and up to date on vaccines. His family is having a really hard time letting this boy go but they know what is best for him. He was once the only child and now there are two very small kids that are taking up most of the working parents time and poor Steve mostly gets left behind. Steve is on the larger side weighing in today at around 80 pounds but has a nice physique with a docked tail. He is a really good boy. He is housebroken reliably but has not officially been crate trained. Easily fixed if you have treats and make the crate his safe haven. We are now working on crate training because he can be a bit energetic and looking for things to do. He pulls a little when first walking on a leash but settles into any and all walks nicely no longer pulling. He has good recall and loves toys. His favorite?? A DUCK!!! Go figure for a Weim! Steve knows basic commands. He has been around and lived with some livestock if you happen to have farm animals! He does well with all small animals but hasn't officially met a cat face to face. He has been known to chase a couple cats out of his yard. We are just taking Steve in and will learn much more about him. We think as with most Weims he would do great in a really active family who like to hike or do a lot of walking. He LOVES LOVES LOVES to run! Would be nice if he had a couple four legged companions and/or some family who are home more often than not. He is fostered in the Palm Desert area.
