Location: Boise, Idaho Indy is a 6-year-old Pembroke Welsh Corgi looking for a calm, child-free home with adopters who can meet his specific needs. He does well with dogs his size and smaller and may enjoy one compatible canine companion, but he is not suited for a busy multi-dog household. Indy is cat friendly, kennel trained, has good house manners, and has completed formal training. He loves fetch, playing with the garden house, going on adventures, and staying close to his people. Indy carries some anxiety and food-related resource guarding due to his past, including prolonged shock-collar use. He must be fed in a kennel and given treats separately. His ideal home will be patient, structured, and willing to maintain routines that help him feel safe. Anxiety medication or supplements may be helpful. He is sound-sensitive (fireworks, gunshots, car backfires) and responds by retreating or hiding. Indy is a joyful, playful dog who thrives when his boundaries are respected and his environment is predictable. With understanding and consistency, he will make a wonderful adventure buddy and companion. If you would like to schedule a meet-and-greet, please respond with a paragraph about yourself, your home, and why you feel you may be a good match for Indy. Thank you for considering him.
