URGENT - GERMAN SHEPHERD NEEDS RESCUE THIS WEEK Hit by a Car �'ۢ 7 Years Old �'ۢ 80 lbs �'ۢ Scheduled for Euthanasia The Sarasota Shelter reached out for help for a very sweet, gentle German Shepherd who is out of time. He was originally purchased from Petland, and based on his temperament, he is likely very good with other dogs. This poor boy was hit by a car and needs medical care - but the shelter does not have the resources to treat him. His owner has abandoned him and is not responding, leaving him with no one to speak up for him. Because the shelter cannot provide the medical support he needs, he is scheduled to be euthanized this week unless a rescue or adopter steps forward. It is heartbreaking to see such a beautiful, loving dog face death simply because he needs help. He Deserves a Chance. He is approximately 7 years old and around 80 lbs, with a gentle, trusting demeanor despite everything he has been through.
