About STELLA and SIERRA

Adoption Fee: $800
Chihuahua
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Female

STELLA (brown) and SIERRA (brown and white) are a bonded pair of little Chihuahuas who were surrendered to us. They were found as strays in February and despite the finder's best efforts no owners were located. Stella is 4 years old and weighs 7.8 lbs and Sierra is 2 years old and weighs 7.1 lbs. We suspect that Stella is Sierra's mom. STELLA and SIERRA are two sweet little girls with different personalities but the same love for people. STELLA is timid and calm, happiest when she's curled up in your lap. She has a funny little habit of licking your shirt as she curls into you, especially if it has vinyl on it! SIERRA is the energetic one, a little jumping bean who loves toys and enjoys a bit of play before climbing into your lap to cuddle. She'll happily keep you company while you work, sometimes acting as your built-in lumbar support, and she would love nothing more than snuggling under a blanket with you on the couch. STELLA and SIERRA are very bonded to each other and we are not separating them. They enjoy each other's company and seek each other out. They are friendly with the small dogs in their foster home, and would be fine with another small dog in the home or good as the only dogs. We do not think that they would be comfortable at home with kids and cats are an unknown. Potty training is still a work in progress for STELLA and SIERRA. They will go to the bathroom outside, but they can have accidents, so continued consistency and patience will be important as they keep learning. A fenced yard is required. At night, STELLA and SIERRA sleep together curled up in a ball in their crate, but they'd be just as content sleeping in bed with you if that's allowed. They're easy to love, easy to please, and ready for a home where they can cuddle up and feel safe! STELLA and SIERRA are up to date on shots, spayed, heartworm negative, have had a ProHeart 12 heartworm prevention shot, and are microchipped with a lifetime registration. *To meet or adopt one of our dogs, you must first submit an adoption application for review.
