About Fred

Fred (50 lbs, 3-4 years old, neutered Border Collie mix) is a sweet, sensitive, affectionate dog who bonds deeply with his person. He is dog-social - he plays well at daycare and at dog parks - and adjusts his energy appropriately with other dogs. Fred does best with slow introductions to new people, as he can be wary at first, but once he feels safe he is incredibly loving, gentle, and connected. He has separation anxiety that is improving with training and structure, and his trainer is available to speak with any rescue or adopter. Fred would thrive in a quiet, stable home - ideally with space to explore and someone home regularly.
