About Dexter

Dexter is a sweet boy. His owner is an 85 year old man with health issues and his wife has dementia. His Dad is heartbroken that he can no longer care for him. Dexter is very vocal, he communicates with a low growl that People often misunderstand. He enjoys being brushed and likes to snuggle with you wherever you are. Dexter is very loyal and loves his person very much. He still loves to play with his toys. He gets so excited to go for walks and will bark with excitement as his leash is put on but will then quiet down once he's outside. Dexter is super smart, he seems to understand every word you say. He really is such a good boy, whoever takes him home will enjoy his companionship and the old man will be forever grateful to you for loving him.
