About Pongo

Pongo is a big boy, with a big personality, ready to have big fun! This larger than life boy is full of energy and excitement. He LOVES other dogs and would do best with another high energy dog who loves to play. His play style is rough and rowdy. He loves to wrestle, pounce, chase, and tug. He currently lives in a house with several other dogs and seems to understand which dogs he can play rowdy with, and which dogs he should leave alone. He has also met cats and done well with them. He is excellent on his leash and fully crate and potty trained. He is basically a giant puppy though, so he is still working on basic obedience, manners, and self control. He likes toys, but his real prize is playing with another dog. His ideal family would be one that is willing to continue his training, as he can be stubborn, and is comfortable with large breeds, as he is not always aware of his size. He also will need considerable exercise and a high energy playmate to get his energy out. He is loving, friendly, and filled with potential.
