About Beau

This is incredibly hard, but my dog Beau urgently needs a new home where he can truly thrive. Beau is a loving, goofy, energetic, 50lb 2-year-old Hound mix who lights up when he's outside - running, playing with other dogs, splashing in streams, and feeling free. At home he's a cuddler who sleeps beside me every night, has adorable 'pillow parties,' watches me cook like I'm his whole world, and loves cheese, bones, and cozy blankets. He is so full of love when he feels safe and understood. Why he needs a new home: Beau has developed some fear- and anxiety-based reactivity, especially on leash or when he hasn't had enough exercise. Apartment living has made this worse, and it's no longer the right or safe environment for him. He needs more space, time, and structure than I can give - and he deserves all of it. Transportation will not be an issue if you live far away.
