About Hennessy

These two young handsome male Anatolian Shepherds were brought to the HSOV on November 16, 2025 by a Marietta City Police Officer who had picked them up in the 100 Block of Pike Street in Marietta Ohio. Neither of the boys had any identification, and they were not microchipped. They have been given the names Hennessy and Whiskey. Hennessy has a cream-colored coat, a long fluffy tail, and a beautiful Shepherd face with dark brown eyes, black shading on his large slender muzzle, and large ears that he usually holds erect (though occasionally he lets one ear droop) �%9D%A4 Whiskey has a cream-colored coat with subtle black shading on his lower back, a long tail, and an adorable face with dark brown eyes, a bit of black shading on his long slender muzzle, and shorter ears which he usually holds in a relaxed floppy manner �%9D%A4 These boys are surely siblings and at first glance appear to be identical twins, but upon a closer look you'll notice that Hennessy has more black on his muzzle than Whiskey .. And Hennessy also has larger ears. Hennessy and Whiskey were full of playful puppy like energy when we spent time with each of them for rather quick pictures before walking them into the shelter and getting them into their kennels/floor crates in time for dinner that evening. The boys didn't have the time (or patience) to step onto the scales for a weigh-in but their weights would likely be in the 55-60 lb range. They are young and may still have some growing to do.
