Meet S'more - Ready for His Forever Family! Meet S'more, the sweet boy with a big heart and an even bigger personality! This Texas-born pup is settling into Midwest life beautifully-and he can't wait to play in that fluffy stuff everyone keeps telling him about'| snow! ?? S'more has mastered potty training and already knows several commands, including SIT, GENTLE, OFF, and COME. He's still a growing pup who sometimes forgets his size-especially when wrestling with kids or his sibling, Ginger Snap-but he's learning every day to be mindful and gentle. He's also working hard on staying calm and focused during walks and is making fantastic progress. He's officially shifting from 'reactive' to 'curious,' taking in the world with more confidence and ease. S'more would thrive in a home with kids and other dogs. He hasn't met any cats yet, so that part is still a mystery. One of his sweetest traits is how protective and gentle he is with his 1-year-old foster brother, yet he knows how to play more rambunctiously with the older foster kiddos-he truly understands when to be soft and when it's okay to play. When he's not in playful puppy mode, S'more transforms into a major snuggler. He loves movie nights, happily curls up next to his foster mom, and actually watches along! He's crate-trained, knows when it's bedtime, and goes into his crate willingly with a little treat motivation. S'more is the perfect mix of playful, loving, and smart-a loyal best friend in the making and the perfect addition to a family ready for love, laughs, and plenty of cuddles. Ready to make S'more part of your family? He can't wait to meet you-and maybe experience his very first snowfall with you too! Our standard adoption fee is $375 if paid by cash or check, or $385 if paid by credit card (which includes a $10 processing fee). This fee covers spay/neuter surgery when age appropriate at one of our participating veterinarians, age-appropriate core vaccinations, fecal testing, deworming, flea and tick preventative, and microchipping. In order to be considered for adoption, we require a fully completed application, a phone interview, and a meet-and-greet with your entire family. Please note that submitting an application does not commit you to adopting and does not guarantee approval-it simply allows us to begin the review process. If you are interested in adopting or would like additional information, please email us at [email protected] to request an application. Keep in mind that the breed and size listed in each dog's biography are our best educated guesses and are not guaranteed. Safe Haven Dog Rescue reserves the right to refuse the adoption of any dog or puppy to any applicant for any reason.
