If loyalty had a throne, King would be sitting right on it. King isn't just a dog - he's royalty with a heart of pure gold. He's a 3-year-old neutered male Labrador Retriever mix with warm brown-and-white markings and the softest, most soulful eyes you'll ever see. King has been at Miami-Dade Animal Services since December 1st, 2024, and his time there has taken a real toll on him. Shelter life is overwhelming and stressful for him, and he's longing for a home where he can finally breathe, relax, and belong. But here's what makes King truly majestic: �Ϭ A perfect blend of chill + playful. King has a push/pull play style - he LOVES to have fun, but he's also low-energy and easy to steer. If you want to romp in the yard, he's in. If you want to binge Netflix and cuddle, he's in. His vibe is 'whatever makes you happy, makes me happy.' �Ϭ A dream on the leash. This boy walks beautifully. He checks in with his human, enjoys the stroll, and would love nothing more than being your daily walking buddy. �Ϭ Smart, affectionate, and deeply loyal. King loves learning, picks up routines quickly, and melts into cuddles when he feels safe. He's playful, goofy, and can also be the sweetest cuddle bug. �Ϭ A social king. He's great with people and absolutely loves other dogs. Being around other pups instantly boosts his confidence and happiness. Right now, King is struggling in the shelter - it's loud, chaotic, and truly wearing him down. He needs out. He needs a home. He needs his person.
