If you'd like to help us continue our mission, please donate at: https://www.blinddogrescue.org/donate-1. Name: DOC Breed: Chiweenie Age: 6 years old (16#) Sex: Male (neutered) Location: Davidson County, TN Vet Info: HW negative and UTD on vaccinations (not confirmed). Doc has glaucoma; it is reported that he can see somewhat in low light. His condition is being treated with daily eyedrops. Owner reports: Owner is looking to rehome his dog because it is triggering his child's eczema. Doc is described as an indoor dog confined to one area of the house. He is house broken and leash trained. Doc's owner feels that he would do better in a house with older children. The owner's 2 year old smacked Doc in the head and Doc snapped at the child, but he did not bite the child. Afterward Doc ran and hid. The owner reports that Doc is scared of the 2 year old. Doc gets along with adults, teenagers and other dogs. His canine sibling, whom he was closed with, has passed away. Doc is reported to be sweet and loving dog that would thrive in a calm home. Can anyone help sweet Doc? **Owner Surrender Disclaimer: These are blind and visually impaired dogs who are living in homes, but their owners can no longer keep them.
