Hades is a 2.5-year-old, 6-pound lavender Pomeranian with a soft, gentle spirit and the sweetest baby-face expression. And do not let his name fool you. Hades is an absolute angel who should have been named Heaven. He is quiet, easygoing, and happiest when cuddled in your arms like a tiny infant. At first he is timid, but he warms up quickly and begins to show his playful, affectionate side within a few days. He is wonderful with other dogs, cats, and kids. He loves to go outside, enjoys playing, and rides beautifully in the car. He is not very vocal and has an overall calm, agreeable personality. He just wants to be loved and included. He does have bilateral luxating patellas, Grade 3 out of 4, but they are not causing him any lameness or discomfort. They simply need to be monitored as he grows older. Hades dislikes the harness and leash for now and will crocodile roll when one is put on. His foster is working with him slowly, and he will need a patient adopter who can continue helping him build confidence. Until he learns to enjoy the harness, supervised yard time is his favorite way to explore. Hades is fully vetted, including a full exam, neuter, dental, vaccinations, deworming, and fecal testing. He is current on monthly heartworm and flea prevention. Hades is located in College Station, TX, and his adoption fee is $650. Apply to adopt at www.tpsrescue.com
