About Saylor

Meet Saylor! Saylor came to us as a stray and was never claimed, but her story turned out to be much more heartbreaking than we expected. She was found up Blacksmith Fork Canyon here in Cache County, and at first, we thought she was just another lost pup who had wandered away from home. However, once her stray hold was over and she was being prepped for spay surgery, we discovered that Saylor had pyometra, a serious and life-threatening infection of the uterus in female dogs. With no owner coming forward, it's likely that Saylor was abandoned while she was sick, left alone in the canyon to face the cold and her infection. It's unthinkable, but we're incredibly grateful that she was found in time. Thanks to prompt veterinary care, Saylor is now spayed, healthy, and on her road to recovery! Despite everything she's been through, Saylor remains an absolute sweetheart. She loves meeting new people, enjoys her walks, and is just starting to discover how fun toys can be.
