About TINY

Adoption Fee: $500
Chihuahua
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Female

TINY is a 3-year-old, 6.2 pound Chihuahua who was owner surrendered because her owner is ill and unable to care for her. TINY is a happy girl with a constantly wagging tail. She's a bit shy at first, but once she gets to know you she becomes your best friend. She loves to be on your lap, get petted, and have her belly rubbed. If she's not in your lap, she'll snuggle into a dog bed with a blanket and burrow underneath. TINY does well with other calm dogs though she doesn't play. She'll follow them around outside and is happy to relax on a couch or in her bed when she wants her own space. She would be fine in a home with other small dogs and also likely be fine as an only dog with lots of love and attention. Cats are unknown. If there are kids in the family they should be older. A quiet, relaxed home is the best fit for this tiny sweetheart. TINY is housebroken and will also use a pee pad. She isn't familiar with a leash, so a fenced yard with supervised outdoor time is best for her. She enjoys rolling in the grass and may chase squirrels. She is nervous on car rides. At night, TINY sleeps in bed with her person, burrowed under the blankets, and stays there until you're ready to get up. TINY has been to the vet, is up to date on shots, spayed, heartworm negative, has had a a ProHeart 12 heartworm prevention shot and and is microchipped with a lifetime registration. *To meet or adopt one of our dogs, you must first submit an adoption application for review.
