When you watch him play, it's impossible not to think of Goofy the cartoon-silly, bouncy, carefree, and absolutely delighted by life. Maybe it's because he spent so long simply trying to survive on the streets, but now that he's safe, Alfie treats every moment like a celebration. Despite his big size, Alfie is nothing but a gentle sweetheart. He has a soft, kind spirit and shows love to everyone he meets-humans, dogs, and even the farm crew. He does great with cats, chickens, and other dogs, making him a perfect fit for many types of homes. Alfie takes his 'yard patrol duties' very seriously�'�| or so he thinks. He loves strolling the fence line, checking for 'intruders'-but don't worry, he's not guarding the yard. If he could open the gate himself, he'd probably say: 'Come on in! Let's play!' Alfie and Bella, his little shortie best friend, were rescued together and share a bond that only survival can create. He protected her as best he could on the streets, and now they comfort each other through every new chapter. While we would love to see them go to a home together, it's not required-Alfie just wants love, safety, and a family of his own.
