URGENT FOSTER/ADOPTER NEEDED! Videos included. From the Brink of Death to a Second Chance! Now She Needs You! Katy's life was hanging by a thread. She had been quietly waiting in the back of the Moreno Valley Shelter, taken off public view, cleared for euthanasia. Still wagging her tail. Still believing someone would come for her. And someone did. Jennifer with Pumpkin Pawz Rescue couldn't let her die. On her very last day, Katy was pulled from the shelter, saved by the slimmest thread of hope. And what a girl she is. Katy is super dog friendly and LOVES to play with her canine friends! She's abundantly sweet, full of love, and the definition of a cuddlebug. She's such a happy girl with a joy and zeal for life. She adores toys, belly rubs, and yummy snacks- the simple pleasures that make her tail wag with glee. She would absolutely love a yard to run around in and share with a loving family. Katy is currently in boarding. While she's safe and grateful, this is not where she belongs. Boarding is stressful, costly, and lonely- not what this sweet girl deserves after fighting so hard to live. We're urgently looking for a foster or adopter. We gave her another chance at life. Now she needs a home where she can finally feel what it means to be truly loved. Katy is just 1 year and 11 months old, around 60 lbs, and believed to be a Lab/Pit mix. She's gentle, calm, affectionate, and good with other dogs. She was found going from car to car in Moreno Valley, just looking for someone to love and help her. Even after all she's endured, she still trusts. She still hopes. Please don't let her story end here. She was saved from death but her journey isn't complete until she finds her forever family.
