Meet Poppy, a sweet and affectionate 2-year-old terrier mix weighing about 25 pounds. If you're looking for a loyal companion who loves deeply, Poppy may be the perfect match. He is fully potty trained, walks well on a leash, and is comfortable staying in a kennel both overnight and while the family is away. Poppy gets along well with other dogs and would love a home with a yard and regular walks. He was rescued from the Nogales shelter, and because of his past, he can be a little clingy in the most endearing way. Poppy does take a few days to warm up to new environments and new people, but once he trusts you, he becomes a devoted best friend who wants nothing more than to be by your side. Poppy would do best in a calmer home with older kids, as younger children and unfamiliar people can make him nervous.
