About Fredo and Scarlet

Help! It is with a heavy heart that I ask for help for a family member who is no longer able to care for two (2) dogs that deserve love. I need to find a foster or re-home a very loving husky named Fredo and his sidekick rat terrier named Scarlet. They are on the Humane Society wait list, but the need is greater to move them now as the house is being shut down. Fredo is an intact male, ~6 years old, very loving/playful, protective when strangers are around until he gets to smell, prefers female but will warm up to male handlers. He is, smart, crate trained, great with older children, other dogs, cats, and LOVES to play, talk, and run. He has the typical husky traits of being an escape artist (digging) but that is mellowing as he is matures. Scarlet is a fixed female, ~4 years old, very loving and one heck of an announcer when someone approaches the house. Scarlet is very loving to her people including children, cats, is smart, and crate trained. Her only behavior issue is food and treat aggression if someone tries to take away once given. Again, they are beautiful, loving, brave, under-trained but smart, and really needs a loving home where they can blossom either together, or separate.
