Please prepare to provide the following information to the staff about you, your family, the city in which you live, other pets, your fenced yard, and whatever else will help identify your family as a good match. You are encouraged to call the shelter for updated information and availability, and to answer your specific questions. Until further notice: All adoption fees are sponsored. Patch Adams's Story Hi, I'm Patch Adams! I'm a boy who is about 1-2 years old and weighs 74lbs. I'm a very silly, friendly guy who is a total clown! I was found as a stray, so my history is a mystery. It's clear that I was socialized as I'm quite a social butterfly: I have met all people very nicely. When it comes to other dogs, I've made lots of friends, too, as long as they like excitable dogs. I have a great grasp on 50% of this 'fetch' game you talk about it. I love to chase the ball! I don't know what comes next though..... I'm active and would make a great adventure buddy. I'm not looking to be a couch potato. I can be strong on a leash, but a little consistency (and oh, I don't know, not living in a kennel!!!) will help me walk better. I love treats, so that's a great start for trainability. I know how to 'sit' already, too! I'm fixed, vaccinated, microchipped and up to date on parasite preventatives. I am $175 to bring home! If you are interested, please call the shelter at (541) 474-5458. You can view more adoptable pets at www.jocoshelter.com/adoptions . Walk-ins are welcome, however we highly recommend calling first to check on availability and location (some animals may be offsite or unavailable). Appointments are recommended to reduce wait times, especially for dogs. Thank you!
