URGENT!!! AKRON, OHIO. (willing to drive up to 3 HRS ). 3 Y/O MALE GSD (DOB:10/29/22 ). His name is ' WALTER'. Background: the Current Shepherd Parent has had Walter for about 1 month, rescued Walter from an elderly person who was unable to care for Walter. UTD on shots WITH record. Fixed. Good with kids. Good with dogs, but recently showing jealousy/aggressive behavior towards the other household dogs. UNKNOWN with cats. House trained. Crate trained. Any known medical issues?:NO, but he has a small cyst on his side, the vet is not concerned, just advised to keep an eye on it. ENERGY LEVEL: HIGH. PREY DRIVE LEVEL: LOW. Weighs 90 lbs. Currently on Purina One True Instinct Turkey and Venison + Pure Pumpkin Puree mixed in' food. Good with car rides?: VERY. Socialized with: *people?: YES. *dogs?: YES. Good with meeting new people? (ALWAYS USE PROPER INTRODUCTION!):YES . Loves: car rides - going on walks - playing fetch - cuddling - naps - honky pigs, the rubber pigs that honk - squeaky toys - stuffies - going on adventures - sleeping in bed with his person - food - being near his person - playing with other dogs. *Intelligent and knows Basic Commands?:YES . *Good Recall? (ALWAYS RETRAIN BEFORE ALLOWING OFF LEASH): UNKNOWN, fenced yard. *Good on a Leash?:YES . *Lovable?: YES. *Eager and fast learner?: YES. Bite History?: NO NOTES FROM CURRENT SHEPHERD PARENT: very sweet boy who just wants to be loved. Pretty chill most of the day but loves his play time. Rings bells on the back door to go out to potty. Well behaved, loyal and smart. Re Homing because�'�|: the Current Shepherd Parent rescued Walter about a month ago from an elderly person who was unable to care for Walter and Walter was actually being neglected. He was dehydrated, filthy, thin, etc. So Walter does have an Abuse / Neglect History. Walter is getting too rough with the Current Shepherd Parent's other dog, a Collie, and acting jealous of the Collie and showing aggressive behavior. Comes with: collar, leash, toys, food.
