Happy Easter!!! He is RISEN!!! Do you have kids who would be blessed to have a gentle, shiny, silky black bunny? I'm handled by kids every day, and get along great with both my parents & my brown brother Puffy. I'd be especially glad to be adopted WITH my brother, we get along so well! My mama is a beautiful black Mini Rex & my daddy is a brown Cinnamon type, so I will grow to be maybe 4.5-5 lbs-a nice medium size-but right now I'm just 4lbs, and SO CUUUTE!!! I'm not far from Cincinnati, and my owners are happy to have you come visit me to see if I'm a good fit for your household. I'm an outdoor bunny, living in my spacious hutch with an exercise pen, but I would be just as happy living indoors! My 5 other siblings were adopted and they are now indoor bunnies! So I know I could easily do that too (as long as you take me for walks in nice grassy places!!). Oh! And did I mention that I love going for rides in the car?? I pick up my kiddos from school some days and cuddle all the way home! I also like walks in the park and I can wear my stylish bunny harness & leash! I'm a pretty sophisticated guy, but you hafta be that way when you're as handsome as I am! If you choose to call or text my owner to inquire about me, please be ready to share if there are other pets at your home, what kind of living space you might be able to provide, and whether you're ok with an 'open' adoption where you can send occasional pics of me in my new home. That would really comfort the hearts of the kiddos I'll leave behind! And my adoption fee might be waived or reduced if need be, but please know that any fees go towards the expenses of keeping my siblings and parents happy and well fed! Well-Thanks for taking time to consider me! God bless and enjoy EASTER!! ----------------------------------Here's a list of things to expect if you're interested in adopting me! Please CALL or EMAIL if you feel we're a good match! My owner wants to talk over the phone and in person with you to get to know you and what you're looking for in a bunny! Expect to discuss:-How many and age ranges of kids? (Most kids 10 & older can easily learn how to safely handle a bunny & eventually be trusted alone with it.) -Are the parents happy to handle the bunny & instruct the children until they're old enough/trained enough to handle him alone? (A stay-at-home mom who loves bunnies would be a plus!!) INDOORS? -If he's an indoor bunny, does the family mind having hay in Riley's living space? Riley needs free access to water, hay & pellets & he gets a daily 'salad' at bedtime. (His hay can be kept in a confined area to minimize mess!) -How many other pets are in the home? (What size & how friendly?) Is the family ok with bunny proofing the home, for Riley to free roam safely for a few hours on most days (with supervision)? OR IF OUTSIDE? -If the bunny lives outside, he needs adequate shade in summer (& a FAN in temps above 80!!), & warmth in winter (Temps below freezing require insulation of his sleeping area, and/or a heating unit. Living with a family of bunnies also makes a huge difference in keeping a bunny warm!) RILEY's LIVING SPACE -Whether inside or outside, Riley will need a contained living area (for unsupervised time) with about 12 square feet of space, with sleeping/hiding quarters that are 2' x 2'. Riley always has hay, grass, a blanket, or a linoleum floor underfoot! He has never had to walk on a wire cage floor, and we would hope that wherever he lives, he has comfortable flooring to live & sleep on. (Riley's living space with us is about 24 square feet, with additional upstairs room. He very happily shares this space with his Daddy & brother) -Do you have a yard or park where the bunny can have some seasonal access to fresh grass and space to run? (He can ride in the car & enjoys walks with a harness on. He would LOVE playtime in an outdoor exercise pen, or even some time to roam in the yard, if adequate space.) ----------------------------Thanks so much for your time & interest!! After going over this (extensive!!) list, if you feel Riley is a good fit for your family, please CALL US (if you prefer, you can text or email first, to set up a time to call) & we will get to know you, send you more pics of our bunny, discuss the above questions, and choose a day for you to meet Riley!! (Thus far, everyone who has come to meet a bunny has gone home with a bunny, or two!!! We require nothing of you after you bring a bunny home-we only hope that you'll send occasional pics of your bunny in their new home! Our children are sad to see their babies go, but are greatly comforted seeing the bunnies happy in their new homes! And we the parents are so grateful to find good homes for the surprise bunny pregnancies that gifted us with 9 babies!!!)
