So smart and communicative with his amber eyes, loves challenges and outdoor time, curious, loves to explore and sniff, enjoys butt scratches, belly rubs, etc, but also can be aloof and independent. He's been a responsible older brother to Shiloh who was adopted a year later and is 10 months younger (see separate listing). They're a wonderful, lovable bonded pair and must be adopted together. I am losing my house and yard on January 1 (my landlady needs to move back in) and have to downsize to 600 square feet so my daughter can finish high school in Brookline. Hoping to find a new loving home for my fur babies where they'll have outdoor space to run and play, and patient, dedicated, dog-savvy hoomans to help them settle in and build a good life. Full disclosure: I've avoided dog parks and off leash areas with the two of them together as Shiloh is fear-reactive and Colby is protective of Shiloh - they are very selective with other dogs and generally don't do well with goldens or younger males. Colby was 100% friendly on his own but became the alpha when we brought Shiloh home.
