CHAMPION NEEDS OUT - DEADLINE APPROACHING FAST!Needs a hero by Dec 9th, by 4pm A282630 1 Year Old 56 lb German Shepherd Mix Champion isn't just his name - it's who he tries to be every single day| even though life hasn't been very fair to him. This beautiful young Shepherd was surrendered in June for having 'too much energy' for the elderly dog in the home. He finally caught a break when he landed a foster home and he THRIVED. He was: Great with children (newborn-4 yrs) Gentle with the foster's cat Friendly with male & female large dogs For a moment, he felt safe. For a moment, he belonged. But when a new baby arrived, the family felt overwhelmed and returned him - and Champion's world shattered all over again. Back in the shelter, his stress skyrocketed. He jumps. He paces. He barks. He spins with anxiety. He's not 'being bad' - he's breaking under the weight of confinement. And now? He's on a time-sensitive deadline because the shelter environment is destroying him emotionally. If Champion doesn't find a foster, adopter, or rescue, he may not make it out. Champion is a young dog who desperately needs structure kindness activity and a family willing to help him decompress and feel loved again. He has already PROVEN he can thrive in a home.
