MEET MARSHMELLOW��ժ Marshmellow is a sweet boy who is ready to find his furever home through PAWS Rescue inc. Marshmellow came to us with a traumatic eye injury that required eye enucleation. Marshmellow (or Mel) may have only one eye, but he sees straight into the hearts of his people. This 7-10-year-old chihuahua-terrier gentleman has perfected the art of cozy companionship. He's a certified Grade A snuggler who specializes in warming laps, boosting moods, and leaning in just close enough to remind you that you're his favorite human (even if he has several favorites). Despite his compact size (18 pounds), Mel is versatile. He's wonderfully housetrained, unfailingly polite indoors, and gets along beautifully with other dogs. He even does well with cats, provided introductions are done thoughtfully. He adores children who are calm and gentle (think 'storybook reading buddy' more than 'toddler tornado'). Don't let his age or cuddle credentials fool you: Mel is just as happy being your chill workday homebody as he is being your weekend adventure sidekick. Give him a leash and a free morning, and he'll trot right alongside you on a 5 mile foothill hike with the enthusiasm of someone who's discovered a new favorite scent every five minutes�'�| or five seconds.
