Shadow is a very sweet and friendly little girl. She's almost 2 years old, 34 lbs. I rescued her from my neighbor who I had to report to Animal Control previously for neglect of her. They had her caged with spilled water most of the time and virtually no shelter. They did a bit better for a while but then put her back in the cage for longer and longer periods of time with no water again. I knew a big storm was coming with 32 degree nights and lots of rain so I took matters into my own hands and asked him to give her to me. He agreed. I thought I could turn her over to the Humane Society and they could find her a nice home as I am not in a position to take on another dog but they are full. I house and crate trained her, she is great with horses and good with my small, older dog. She cowers a lot from the abuse and they taught her basically nothing. So needs a patient hand and lots of training and love. But she wants to please and is very loving. Not spayed yet, has 1st shot, no rabies yet.
