I found this puppy on the side of the road at the end of this past summer going into fall. She was so tiny that I could use one arm and just scoop her up. I was told she was about 4 months old but I don't actually know the exact age. I've tried since then to fine her owners. We have done signs, social media post, word of mouth. To no avail I still have this puppy, she is super sweet I say she's about 6-7 months old now. I actually want to keep this puppy, unfortunately I can't afford vet care I actually can't even afford to get her spayed right now. I do feel like I should exhaust all options and try to find her the best home possible so she gets the best care possible. I do not know Millie's exact breed but but she is absolutely brilliant. She has been able to sit, lay down, and play a game called touch since she was a tiny puppy. I started teaching her things almost immediately just out of curiosity I've never had a puppy and I've done a lot of research because I love animals. Anyone who did take Millie would be the luckiest person, Millie goes to my mom's where she plays with a middle-aged dog and another puppy who is a little bit younger than her but she gets along with everyone. At my house she lives with several cats and kittens. She can be timid at first and she has been around young children and toddlers she showed no signs of aggression or fear. Just curiosity. Millie does not have very good recall and does walk well on a leash but is still learning not to pull. Millie loves food and she loves treats, during training she responds well to high value jerky type treats or the little chicken heart bites. During training I use the word ' yes' and then immediately give her a treat. House training has taken some time and probably will take time once in a new place, but she is very good about going out to use the bathroom.
