Ruby was adopted at 4mo old to be a companion for my older dog; she was born December of 2019, making her 6 years old this upcoming December. Shes very lovey and cuddly and is a true velcro dog. She knows sit, lay, roll over, down/up, kennel, bed (she is treat and attention driven). She is stubborn and talks quite a bit at times; I can make out 'I love you; I know; where were you.' Weve held conversations lol. As she has gotten older, shes become more dominant in attitude toward the other dogs I have. Shes not been in a fight with any of my other dogs in about 5 months; however, she will start growling at the other girls and resource guard me (I correct her so she stops). To avoid any fights occurring in the future, I have come to the difficult decision to rehome her. She would do best in a home where she is the only dog and has plenty of yard to run off energy per her breed, or on a home with a submissive puppy. If left to her own, she would wander off, harness preferable. Does tend to jump, so no small kids. She will be taken to the pound at the beginning of January due to my living situatuon changing then, also.
