Honey Bear is a beautiful, incredibly sweet St. Bernard who has endured so much. She was found as a stray, unable to bear weight on her hind leg. X-rays show she had an old fracture that healed improperly, and veterinarians believe her leg will likely need to be amputated. Honey Bear is also 34 weeks pregnant, and we will do everything possible to save her puppies - but ultimately, the vet will determine what is safest for her and the babies. She has not yet been seen by an outside vet, so we urgently need support to get her that chance. ���� Honey Bear will be euthanized this Friday, Dec 5th, if no foster steps up. Despite everything, she is the sweetest dog - loving, gentle, friendly, and trusting. She wags her tail when you speak sweetly to her, and she had zero reaction to kittens walking right by her. She's about 80 lbs (on the smaller side for a St. Bernard) and estimated to be 3-5 years old.
