About Bourbon

Bourbon was found in July on the side of the highway in Homestead,Florida. We took him home and have been trying to find him his forever home since then. He does great with our two Golden Retrievers who are female. He has also been around Shiloh Shepherds and a cat, and does great with them. He is definitely not an alpha dog. He is submissive to our younger female Golden Retriever. We do not know how he would do with small dogs. He does great with our kids aged 15 and 11, but he can be very fearful of new people coming into the home. He shows his fear by barking. We are working on training him to stop this behavior. He is fully potty trained, fully crate trained, and we have taught him his basic obedience commands. He is super intelligent and loves to play.
