About Grizzy

Grizzy is in search of a loving new home where he can live his best life chasing balls and frisbees! Grizzy is approx. 3 years old. He loves other dogs, new people and kids. He is a higher drive dog and would love to be in a home that is looking for a sport prospect dog. He is extremely fast, athletic, and very intelligent. He does alert bark. We have small kids and just don't have time to train him properly and give him the love and attention he deserves. Pros: His agility makes him a great candidate for fly ball or agility work, long hikes or long distance running. He can jump with ease and grace. He is house trained, crate trained, and kennel trained. He is used to other dogs and gets along well with them. Really bright boy. He is lean and has always been in perfect health. He would be ideal for someone who loves to hike or run and has a large fenced in yard for him to exercise giving him the freedom he deserves in a safe setting. He has a beautiful coat that is easy to groom. Cons: Proper fencing is must for his new property - he can jump very high. He cannot go to a home without a secure fence for his own safety. Can get over stimulated if couped up. He does not like any animals other than dogs. A home with cats, livestock, or other animals would not be suited for him. He can sit and lie down when asked but will need someone who is willing to provide additional recall training. Thank you!
