Cranberry-Berry for short-arrived just in time for Thanksgiving. After spending her young life living in the woods with her person, who was experiencing homelessness, she needed a safe and stable place to land. We don't often take owner surrenders, but we couldn't turn her away, and we're so glad we didn't. From the moment we met her, Berry was gentle, sweet, and instantly trusting. She's about a year old, around 45 pounds, with bright white teeth and warm honey-colored eyes. Despite her difficult past, she settled in right away, hopping into the car, letting out a long sigh, and falling asleep as soon as she knew she was safe. Berry is now looking for a foster or foster-to-adopt home where she can finally experience comfort and consistency. She's a lovely girl with a soft spirit and a bright future ahead.
