Meet Chicken - The Sweetest Boy Who's Waited Far Too Long for a Home Chicken is a 2-year-old sweetheart who has been at Pinal County Animal Care & Control since August 2025, and he is so ready for a family to love. This handsome boy gets along great with his female kennel mate. Have a dog bring them in to meet chicken to see if its a good fit. Chicken walks well on a leash-though he may occasionally cut in front of you-but he's gentle, easy to handle, and just wants to be close. He's non-reactive to other dogs on walks, friendly with everyone he meets, and takes treats gently when he decides to accept them. This boy has spent far too long living in a kennel, and he deserves the chance to finally experience life inside a loving home. He's kind, social, and ready to give his whole heart to someone.
