Ellie is curious and a bit of a busybody. She likes to keep tabs on what's going on around her. She benefits from a lot of activity and would do best in a home ready to give her plenty of daily exercise and mental enrichment. She walks really well on leash (especially for being new to it) and genuinely enjoys her walks. She is a bit cautious of loud cars, but she doesn't actively run away from them. She's a big fan of enrichment toys, bones, and moving her water bowl around for some reason. Ellie has shown no major reactivity toward other dogs so far. She would benefit from continued exposure, socialization, and desensitization to help her feel confident around new dogs, cats, and people, though. She hasn't shown any people-directed barking yet, but she can be a bit reactive to unexpected nighttime noises, like trash cans rolling or car doors closing, especially when she can't see where the sound is coming from.
