Transport help may be available. * 3 year old Australian Shepherd * weighs 31 pounds * came in as stray with a microchip but not reclaimed * heartworm positive - can be easily treated, ask staff if openings in hw program * spayed * greets you with tail wags and doggy smiles * good on leash - walks close beside you * friendly, sweet, social, happy, playful, loving * submissive and wants to please her person * gentle and well mannered * likes treats and takes them easily * affectionate but not needy * she was calm and well behaved in and out of her kennel * she is smart and easy to pick up on new things Athena is a sweet and petite little girl! She has bright blue eyes that sparkle! She loves everyone she meets and is always ready to spend time with you. She is ready for a home and family to share life, adventures, and love with. She would benefit from daily walks, runs and enrichment. She would love to go to a new home quickly! Our shelter is full, please go meet her.
