Hansel is 3 years old, neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, and around 75 lbs, but in his heart he is a total lap dog. Once he chooses you, that's it - you are his person. He will gladly curl up right on top of you if you let him. Morning cuddles are his absolute favorite, especially with belly rubs. He is a dream at night - sleeps peacefully without pacing. While he currently sleeps in bed, he is respectful and will move the moment he's asked. Hansel has the sweetest, quirkiest personality. This summer, he helped himself to tomatoes right off the vine. He loves veggies, peanut butter in his cereal, chicken, salmon - he's a surprisingly healthy eater with a joyful soul. Toys aren't really his thing, but give him a tug rope and someone strong enough to play - and he is in heaven. Water is his joy. He loves biting the hose, running through sprinklers, and living his absolute best life. He even chases reflections like a cat - a little quirky trait that makes him unforgettable. Hansel also has a strong guardian instinct. On warm days, he will stretch out on the porch for hours, quietly watching over his space and his people. He is smart, housebroken, knows his commands, is gentle with treats, well-mannered, and easily redirected. He truly just wants love and attention - the kind he so deeply deserves.
