We found this sweet girl tied up to a tree, abandoned and terrified. She's a young female, a Pitbull mix, and it's clear she has been hurt in the past-she flinches a little when other dogs get too close, like she may have been bullied or attacked before. Despite everything she's been through, she is incredibly gentle. She melts into you when you pet her, and she's loving with kids and friendly with other dogs once she feels safe. Her eyes tell you she just wants someone to love her and protect her. We wish we could keep her, but we already have five dogs at home and can't give her the space and attention she deserves. She needs a safe place, medical check-up, and a chance at a loving family who won't ever leave her behind again. She's been through so much, but she still trusts, still hopes, and still has so much love to give.
