About Misty

Misty came into rescue as an owner surrender, and to put it lightly-she was a hot mess with a lot of heart. Fleas covered her little body, and she had lost most of her fur, but underneath it all was a sweet 2�%BD-year-old, 34-pound Australian Shepherd just waiting for her chance to shine. With time, love, and care, Misty has transformed beautifully and is now ready to find a home of her very own. Misty gets along well with both dogs and cats, but her world truly revolves around two things: her ball and her people. If fetching were an Olympic sport, she'd bring home the gold. If snuggling were a job, she'd be a full-time professional. She is happiest when she gets to run, play, and then curl up close to the humans she trusts and adores. Misty will need a physically fenced yard so she can safely zoom, chase her ball, and enjoy the freedom she loves. She's come a long way, and now she's ready for the final step-a forever home of her own.
