Sweet Pea is currently in an Arkansas kill shelter and must have a foster or adopter by Saturday, December 6th to secure her spot on the transport truck to Cedarburg, WI with Mutt Life Dog Rescue. Without a home commitment, she will not be able to make the trip. Meet Sweet Pea Sweet Pea is a 5-month-old brindle mixed breed pup, about 15 pounds, who was found as a stray and ended up in the Arkansas kill shelter system. Despite this rough start, she lives up to her name in every way-sweet, friendly, and eager to love. She is still very much a puppy and learning the ropes, but her warm personality and gentle nature make her a wonderful fit for many types of homes. Sweet Pea is friendly with people, kids, and other dogs, and is likely good with cats due to her age.
