About Arthur

Watch Arthurs video here too!Arthur is a young happy, attention seeking boy that is working hard on his manners and training. He is crate and house trained and is doing great learning door manners as rushing out a door without permission is not acceptable! looking for an active family that will take time to exercise with him and play tug with him daily. He has learned to not only 'sit' but 'stay' until released and he knows his name and responds well when called. He is getting used to meeting new people and after a few minutes, he warms up and considers you a friend and hopes you will allow him to rest his head in your lap! Arthur loved playing with the young girl in his temporary foster home. Just watch your socks, as Arthur thinks it's his job to remove socks from your feet. If successful then a game of 'keep away' begins! In his previous life, Arthur did live with another dog but is not currently fostered in a home with other dogs. He loves to run around in the yard, playing with a Frisbee or ball. On walks he might pull a little, but is VERY good about listening to commands and doing his best to 'heal'. When out back, he loves to get his nose under the fence to check out the dog next door. He's not with another dog at his foster home, but lived with another dog in his original home so he should be good with other furry family members. Because he does get overly excited when seeing other dogs on walks, introductions will need to be done slowly. Arthur is looking for an active family that will take time to exercise with him, play tug with him and give him the training he is yearning for!
