Looking for a wonderful home for Estella. She is a Boxer/Mastiff designer mix, found abandoned at a cemetery in the Miami area. She had just whelped and was very skinny. We nursed her back to health and she is now spayed and happy, and a SUPER FUN dog, besides being a BEAUTIFUL dog. Estella loves other large dog companions as well and will get them all playing and exercising. She is NOT good with small pets, such as some cats and ferrets. She was perfect with our small dog but hasn't been around other very small ones, to know for sure. Estella is weary of strange men and HAS BEEN KNOWN TO NIP the ankle of strangers-males only. She will be totally fine with them, once she learns to trust. (We have a male pet sitter whom she now loves). Estella would benefit from a home with plenty of space to roam, as she likes to run around before plopping herself downs like a perfect foot warmer. She can be an only dog or a great companion to another docile large breed. Estella is definitely a pac dog and will support her Alpha in the good, the bad and ugly, if amongst other dogs. We do not recommend her to first time dog owners or households with small pets. She is fine with docile cats but has a very strong prey instinct and if a cat hisses at her, it won't be around to tell the story... We are heartbroken to part with her but the foster where she is currently at has a ferret and cannot keep her for much longer. We will be happy to bring her up from Miami to anywhere in south or Central Florida but we will first want to personally view the home and interview the prospective owners-non negotiable.
